Using these colourful cards children can become familiar with many common rhythmic groupings, make up their own sequences and clap, say or play them. All the tiles relate to one another in size so that note values can be seen as parts or fractions of a whole or each other. Quick recognition of rhythmic patterns is an essential tool for successful sight reading. Playing games such as ’snap’ or ’pelmonism’ with these cards will familiarise students with these elements of music reading in a fun and non stressful way. Suitable for use by children learning any musical instrument.
